It is the time of our lives when we start creating and exploring personal relationships.According to Erikson, it is utmost important for people to develop intimate and close relationships with each other.He says that successfully forming long lasting and enduring relationships is necessary to spend a satisfied and happy life.And, the best time to develop such relationships is the early adulthood without any doubt.Remember that each stage builds on the skills acquired in the previou s stage. Erikson suggests it is impossible to develop enduring relationships without having a strong sense of personal identity.Numerous studies have also shown that people are more likely to suffer from depression, loneliness, and emotional isolation if they do not have an advanced sense of self.You develop one of the most sort after virtues of life that is love after the successful conclusion of this stage.The main hallmark of love is the ability to develop close, committed, meaningful and lasting relations with other people. 7. Broad changes in the Indian Banking Sector in the pre and post reform period (1991 reforms): Pre-reform Banking System: The banking system was entirely in control of government and it catered to the needs of planned economy. The programme focussed on financial inclusion and rural focus. The requirement of huge expenditure for development was met by government through automatic monetization of fiscal deficit. And the interest rates were administered which resulted in cross subsidization. Reforms: Interest rate deregulation and reduction of public sector role were the main focus of the reforms. Huge capital infusion by government and promotion of consolidation and good governance were the targeted goals. But the privatization of public sector banks was not large scale. Post reform Banking System: There was a marked improvement in the capital position and asset quality of the commercial banks. Decline in operating cost followed by improvement in profitability of the banks lead to fall in income ratio. Modernisation of the banks was achieved to a certain extent. Current Banking Scenario in India: In Indian bank dominated and highly diversified financial system there has been a proactive approach to prudential regulations. RBI minimum capital requirement (9%) is more than Basel standards (8%). Indian banking sector is estimated at about US $ 35 billion (in terms of total banking assets) and has been growing at 15% per annum. Although bank assets/ GDP ratio is low (47.55%) as compared to other countries but it has survived well during the economic crises due to tight regulation because of 80% government holding of the assets. The banks (PSBs, private) want RBI to let them increase their equity by floating more number of shares. But this would lead to serious implications as the control of the government of the banks would reduce and the foreign banks would have a greater control. Dilution of the control will not help either the government or RBI to meet their objectives which were always in benefit of the common man. The implications of the norms for Indian banking industry- The Monetary Policy One of the major concerns about Basel norms implication is effect on the monetary policy. He opens a door through which our imagination enters a new world, a world of music, love, beauty, heroism,--the whole splendid world of Greek literature. Such magic is in words. When we read a history of the Anglo-Saxons, for instance, we learn that they were sea rovers, pirates, explorers, great eaters and drinkers; and we know something of their hovels and habits, and the lands which they harried and plundered. A little more then a year had passed and the Spanish apparently had not come back to our Incan Empire, until they appeared in my city. They appeared as strangers, protected by wearing full metal amour. They charged at us on huge animals, (which none of us had ever seen before) called horses. There was so many of them and each one of them was armed with gunpowder, guns and steel weapons. It was all very terrifying and I was so scared. The Spanish had absolutely no respect at all for our religion of worshiping the Sun. So they tried to change our religion to there religion of Christianity. Plus they let fire and destroyed buildings. Large numbers of people died, as 9 out of 10 Incas did. This was huge, because our Incan population suffered a dramatic and quick decline following contact. People died of different causes but all linked to the Spanish. Such as†¦ -The Spanish went on rampages through the city murdering chiefs, plus anyone they did not like. -Several people had no resistance to keep on living as we were treated very unfairly and died. -And the main cause of death was from disease, which the Spanish brought. The EPR is a major investment and requires periodic upgrade and regular maintenance. The system requires skills to support and maintenance skills that the company lacks. This has made the system expensive to maintain. Secondly, the company is still using the old CRM solution that does not support mobile phone interface. There has been an increase in internet access by use of mobile phone in the recent decade. Most people are using their mobile phones to check information or access services through the internet (Ratten, 2015). This factor necessitates a CRM solution system that can be easily accessed by a mobile phone and has automatic updates. Lastly, there has been hype around the internet of things. The IT industry has changed and other companies are adopting the change (Tari, 2014). The new technological developments have changed the environment of operations that create a need to change to offer value to the companys customers. The purpose of this strategic plan is enable understanding the current state of the company in terms of capabilities and opportunities and outline tactics that will enable the business maintain and increase sales in the market. The strategic plan will cover the following components; mission statement, objectives, SWOT, strategies and competitive advantage. The Mission statement of Coles Company is offering customers quality, service and value at affordable prices. The company aims to achieve quality in their produce and give customers best services that add value to their life. The objective of this strategic plan is to reduce investment in IT and enable quicker time market solution. This objective is expected to be met by replacing the current on premise in-house supported solution model to cloud computing model. The Coles SWOT analysis is as follows; The Company has strength in having resources, well established and has a large market share in Australia. Coles has a weakness of slow rate of adopting change, aging workforce and inadequate IT skills. The company has an opportunity of increasing its market share by reaching mobile phone customers. Lastly the company is faced by threats of increasing competitors in the retail and supermarket industry. The strategy for Coles business is to maintain its market share by offering its customers best quality, services and value. This strategy is to be enabled by adopting current IT system that creates a good interface between the company and its customers (Hunter, 2009). The competitive advantage of Coles Business is affordable prices to its customers. The company aims at attaining a competitive advantage by charging low prices. Lower prices attract customers thereby attaining a competitive edge (Onsarigo et al., 2017). Conclusion From the report, Coles Company is in need of a new computing model. The company needs to change in order to minimize it cost of operations and remain strategic in the industry. Changing to cloud computing model will reduce the company capital investments on IT system, enable automatic updates of the system and be competitive to other companies in the industry. The company will also have access to flexible server, Information recovery in case of disaster, document control, Security of system and be able to work from any point anywhere. Therefore, clouding computing model is a feasible technology in the company because it will enable the company to achieve it mission and meet its objectives. Recommendations Following the discussion on this report, I recommend the following; Coles Chain Stores should change it computing model to cloud computing for it the future of the Information technology industry. The system will also cut their operations cost. The company should also hire an expert who understands the cloud computing model to enable smooth transition and that the company full benefits from the model.
